PINEROLO - COLLE VACCERA (ROAD BIKE)

Starting from Pinerolo (Abbadia Alpina, via Valmaggi) in front of shop Cicli Colomba.
The road between Pinerolo and Luserna S.Giovanni looks hilly (up and down), without any particular difficulty. The first real roughness is represented by the uphill to the Astronomical Observatory (1 km to 8% average gradient), turn left and starts the beautiful road "Panoramica" of Luserna. After the "Panoramica" begins the wonderful climb towards Colle della Vaccera, 16 km at an average gradient of 6.5%. At the top you will enjoy one of the most beautiful views in the Pinerolo area. The downhill is technical, challenging and fun (track conditions: good)

PINEROLO - COLLE VACCERA (MTB)

Starting from Pinerolo (Abbadia Alpina, via Valmaggi) in front of shop "Cicli Colomba" .The climb until San Germano has an average gradient of 2% (long false flat). Once you reach the village of San Germano continue towards the center then turn (500 meters after the end of cobblestones) towards Pramollo. After the town of Pramollo, near the bridge, turn left towards Colle Vaccera. The climb has a first part with challenging slope (9 % gradient average). The second part instead is easier (5/6% gradient average). The last kilometers uphill allow you to enjoy a landscape fairy tale, you will pass through beautiful forests of beech and fir. At the top of Colle Vaccera you will enjoy of one of the most beautiful views of Pinerolo area. The downhill is a mix of asphalt and dirt road; descend towards Torre Pellice and after about 6 km near a hairpin bend turn left on a dirt road which will take you up to Prarostino, and then make the final "dive" towards Pinerolo.

PINEROLO - RUATA DI PRAMOLLO (MTB)

Starting from Pinerolo (Abbadia Alpina, via Valmaggi) in front of shop "Cicli Colomba". The climb until San Germano has an average gradient of 2% (long false flat). Once you reach the village of San Germano, continue towards the center and then turn (500 meters after the end of cobblestones) towards Pramollo. From here starts the real uphill, 8 km with an average gradient of 7%. The downhill between Ruata and San Germano is very technical and fun (track conditions: good).

ANELLO PRAGELATO (VAL TRONCEA) - (MTB)

The "Val Troncea" is one of the pearls of Piedmont. The regular slope of its dirt road (4.5%) makes it accessible to all bikers with children. The second part of the path is definitely more technical and for biker with a good training that like the downhill single track.

GIRO DEL CRÒ DI PINEROLO - (MTB)

This is a "classic" and nice path in Pinerolo area. Starting from Pinerolo, near the cemetery. We go towards the village of San Pietro, after 2 km take a small road on the left. Continue the uphill until a crossroads, where you must be on the left and at the next crossroad, turn left again, taking a road in downhill. Next, turn right until crossing Via Priolo, where you turn right again. After passing the asphalt parts very steep, turn onto a dirt road on the left and continue until you reach the "Fontana degli Alpini". Immediately after the Fountain a beuatiful dirt road climb starts up to "Colle di Pramartino". From Pramartino to Crò, well if you like nature you will find joy for your eyes: 10 km approximately in the middle of fantastic forests where almost certainly you will see the animals that living in this forest but the best is yet to come ... in fact reached the Colle del Crò starts a wonderful downhill that takes you through one of "magic" place in this area: the Forest of Empire. The downhill in this forest is technical and fun; finished wood begins a rapid descent that will take before the Colle Infernetto and later to Pinerolo.

Well with this path you will discover how even the Pinerolo area can give landscapes similar just above the beautiful refuge Mellano (Canada House). Starting from Pinerolo, continue towards Porte di Pinerolo and start climbing towards Fontana degli Alpini. This path is above the beautiful vertical rock of of "Rocca Sbarua" The path is for for bikers with a medium level of training and is suggetsed for who get limited time for training (this is a short but excellent training). The track is continous up and down with some techinical part. The very draining soil makes possible go with mtb also in raining day. If you don't have the GPS, remember to follow the signs "Itinerario C1" for the first part of the track and "itinerario C2" (white sign with red writing) in the second part.

The "Tour of Verna Cumiana" is a ride short but fun and with a right mix of flat, climb and technical downhill. Starting from the village of Bivio Cumiana. The first 10 km are flat, the uphill starts in the town of Cumiana. The average slope of the 9 km climb is around 7%. After the top of Verna starts a beautiful tachnical downhill that will bring you back to Bivio Cumiana.

RANDOMENTA (ROAD BIKE)

This ride is the same of the "Randonnée of the land of mint", a non competitive race played at the beginning of May. The most part of the path is flat, with a couple of uphill quite easy close to Torre Pellice and Isasca. Despite the climbs are not particularly challenging, given the considerable distance (152 km), it is recommended for bikers with a good training.

TOUR DEL COL DEL LYS (ROAD BIKE)

This path you will discover mountain landscapes particularly fascinating. Starting from Caselette town. The first 30 km until the town of Lanzo are quite easy:beautiful road with several "Up and down" until the start of Valle di Lanzo and then slightly uphill until Lanzo. After Lanzo starts the climb towards Col del Lys. Until Viù village the uphill is easy (3,5% average gradient) after this village the climb becomes more challenging, but never touch slopes greater than 7%. Once arrived at Colle del Lys you will enjoy of a splendid view of the Val Susa and the Alpi of Piedmont region. The downhill is fast but isn't particularly challenging

PRALI (ROAD BIKE)

itinerario per Prali

Starting from Pinerolo, Via Valmaggi in front of Cicli Colomba shop. The first 20 km (slightly uphill road - false flat) are on SR23 towards Sestriere. Arriving in Perosa Argentina town turn in direction Prali (Germanasca Valley). After the Pomaretto town the uphill starts. The first 7 km are quite easy (average gradient at around 4%), After the town of Perrero the road becomes more challenging, in fact starts a beautiful climb of 12 km (6.5% average slope) which will take you up to Prali. The downhill is very nice and fast; at Pomaretto before the roundabout, turn right to return to Pinerolo along the road that passes on the right side of the Val Chisone.

PRAMARTINO E PRAROSTINO (ROAD BIKE)

Beautiful path that will take you to explore the beautiful climb of Pramartino (where passed in the past yeras the Tour de France that the Giro d'Italia) and the uphill of Prarostino with his panoramic downhill. Starting from Pinerolo in Via Valmaggi, near the Cicli Colomba shop. The first 10 km until Villar Perosa, are a good training to face the best the uphill of Pramartino. The average gradient of the climb is around 6.5% for 7 km, and so it is open to all even less trained. The Pramartino downhill, which brings you to Pinerolo, is very fast and very technical, so the advice is to ride the bike with great concentration. Following the SR23 towards Sestriere and then turn left on the bridge of "San Martino", where you take the road on the left side of the valley, and then after a few km turn left and start climbing towards Prarostino. This climb has a first half quite easy (average gradient of around 5%) and a second half more challenging (peaks at 14%). The downhill from Prarostino to Pinerolo is really fun.
